01/07/2026This frame hits that sweet spot between retro and modern that’s weirdly hard to find. The black isn’t a flat, dull black — it has this subtle depth to it, almost a polished finish, which makes the cat-eye silhouette feel more expensive than the price tag suggests. I wore them to a dinner thing last week and a friend asked if they were vintage. The slight upward flick at the corners is just dramatic enough to lift the face without going full caricature. One tiny gripe: the hinge on the temples felt a bit stiff right out of the box, but after a couple of careful opens it loosened right up. If you’ve got a narrow-to-medium face, these will fit like a glove.

29/06/2026Bought these for my 9-to-5, and they’ve quickly become my daily pair. The black cat-eye shape manages to look sharp without screaming for attention, which means I can wear them through back-to-back Zoom calls and still feel put together. What surprised me most was the weight — or the lack of it. The acetate front with those slim metal arms keeps them from sliding down my nose even after hours of staring at spreadsheets. Nose pads are a small detail, but they actually sit flush and don’t leave marks. I’m honestly considering grabbing a second pair just to keep one in the office drawer.
