05/07/2026Needed backup glasses that didn’t look like backup glasses. These are dead-on for a slightly retro 70s square silhouette but with thinner temples so they don’t overwhelm a smaller face. Material feels durable, almost like what you’d get from a boutique optician costing twice as much. Only tiny gripe: the nose pads are fixed, so if you have a low bridge they might slide a little during humid days. Otherwise, massive value for daily wear.

28/06/2026Wore these to a client meeting and got two compliments before I even opened my laptop. The champagne tortoise is way more interesting than plain black or brown—it catches light without screaming for attention, which is exactly what I wanted. They’re light enough that I don’t get those annoying red marks on my nose by 3 PM, and the square shape sharpens up my face without making me look too severe. Solid hinges too; I’ve already dropped them once on concrete and they didn’t even get scratched.

11/06/2026I’m genuinely picky about the little things, and these frames made me exhale in relief the second I unboxed them. The color gradient is so subtle—warm honey tones bleeding into softer taupe and barely-there caramel veins—it looks expensive up close, not like a flat printed pattern. The high-polish finish on the acetate feels buttery, not plasticky, and they sit absolutely straight on my uneven ears with zero adjustment. If you’re building a capsule wardrobe, this tortoise bridges gold and silver jewelry seamlessly.
