Honestly, I bought these because they reminded me of my favorite vintage frames from a thrift shop, but these are way more comfortable. The bridge sits flush without gaps, and the weight is minimal—forgot I had them on after twenty minutes. I do wish the black was a deeper onyx; in direct sunlight, it reads slightly charcoal. But the frame’s build feels engineered, not stamped out. If you’re someone who notices small fit details, these won’t disappoint.

I needed a backup pair that could handle the gym bag without snapping. These passed the drop test (accidentally, twice). The spring hinges give a little flex, which is exactly what you want when you’re clumsy. Color is consistent all around—no lighter spots at the joints. One thing: the arms could be a bit longer for my big head; they fit, but I’m at the last notch. Otherwise, for thirty bucks, you can’t argue with the value. Would buy again for a spare.
